More...About Me...
Why become an artist?
I became an artist not just to fulfill my childhood dream. Rooting in the belief that an artist is, at its core, a conduit for emotion. I create from a place of introspection, trusting that work born from genuine feeling will inevitably find its resonance.Perhaps it is a game of endurance—if you do something long enough and hard enough, culture will yield.
What is my chosen medium?
comprehensive material:rice paper, watercolor and plaster are the main materials, while ink, color and lead are supplementary tools
What is my work about?
finding a way to express emotions through an appropriate medium and presenting a picture with my unique artistic language.
Where do i work?
for now :Beijing,China
What are your greatest artistic challenges?
For internal challenges, I'm constantly second-guessing myself mid-process. Like, "Is this any good? Is it too weird? Should I make something more... popular?" I have to really fight to just trust my gut and not overthink it. not just about mastering a technique, but about navigating the complex relationship between my inner self, my craft, and the outside world. For external challenges,i think the greatest is about the deadline about new project.Every artist has procrastination.
What projects currently working on?
“Interstellar Utopia”by Tencent, its an online game project,my part as the main concept artist for game scene.
What is my planning to do next?
Work for a new series besides work— it’s still in the messy sketch phase, but I’m playing with combining digital and traditional painting. It’s all about "quiet moments in a noisy world." We’ll see where it goes!
